Most recently, I worked as a Media Manager & Producer at a creative marketing agency Hey Awesome Girl. There, I spearheaded and managed media, content, marketing, and social strategies for the portfolio of clients and internally. I executed communication campaigns within traditional outlets and the digital landscape, improving engagement and conversion rates for each project or business.
Gemonay (April 2020 – Sept. 2021) is a lab-grown diamonds company. I helped launch it from the ground up and position it in the market as a serious competitor. Developed the brand story and social mission. Wrote the copy for the entire website, products, and social media. Led content and social strategies. Managed influencer relationships, including contract negotiations, landing Mary Fitzgerald from Selling Sunset, Lindsay Hubbard from Summer House/Bravo TV, Tamica from Southern Charm NOLA, model Mimi Tao, among others as brand ambassadors. Gemonay has now become a serious competitor in the lab-grown diamonds market even though they’re a newcomer. You can find the social media campaigns with the brand ambassadors further down this page.
PROJECTISR (Oct. 2019 - March 2020) is an Asian streetwear fashion brand. I created their brand story based on many interviews with the founders, wrote press releases, and did media outreach. I used my fashion contacts and also found 100 fashion influencers to run a social media campaign, which increased their Instagram following from 1k to 10k in 2 weeks. The goal was to bring the brand into the New York fashion market. With the newfound brand awareness, they’re preparing to show at New York Fashion Week soon.
Luna Sundara (May 2019 - Present) is a sustainable company based in New York, led by a Peruvian woman, who employs multiple communities of artisans in Peru. They’re best known for their Palo Santo incense. I wrote their brand story, helped them with content and social strategy, and text creation, and led one of their first media outreach campaigns that accelerated their brand awareness, growing their Instagram following. The company has been featured in some major news outlets.
